Place value fun of digits:

Here, you can learn the place value of digits in two digits numbers. Every digit has the place value in any numbers. Like Ones, Tens, Thousands, Ten Thousands, Lakhs, Ten Lakhs, Crores, Ten Crores, Arab, Ten Arab……Second Part of Two Digit Fun

Ones

A single digit number has only ones place value. Any single digit number has the same number place value. Example:

# 6 means Its place value = 6 Ones

# 8 means Its place value = 8 Ones

# 9 means Its place value = 9 Ones

Tens

The smallest two digits number start with 10. It is called One ten. One ten has ‘0’ Ones and ‘1’ Ten. Two digits number has two place value. i.e. One and Ten place value. Example:

# 10 means, “0” at One place and “1” at Ten Place. It is called One Ten or 1 Ten and 0 One or Ten.

# 20 means, “0” at One place and “2” at Ten Place. It is called Two Tens or 2 Tens and 0 One or Twenty.

Similarly,

# 30 means, Three tens or Twenty

# 40 means, Four tens or Thirty

# 50 means, Five tens or Fifty

# 60 means, Six tens or Sixty

# 70 means, Seven tens or Seventy

# 80 means, Eight tens or Eighty

# 90 means, Nine tens or Ninety

# 100 means, Ten tens or Hundred. First ‘0’ at One place, Second ‘0’ at Ten place and ‘1’ at Hundred place. Hence, It is called 1Hundred, 0 Ten and 0 Ones.

Write the place value of each digits:

You will call the digits from the right side in any numbers. Call Ones and Tens. Example: 26 means, Call from right side Ones and write 6 Ones. Again call Tens and write 2 Tens. It becomes 2 Tens and 6 Ones. It is called twenty six.

79The place value of 9
95The place value of 5
Write the Tens place value:

You will call from the right side of any numbers, Ones and Tens. Write your answer below. Example: 46 means, The place value of 4 = 40.

46The place value of 4 40
57The place value of 5
98The place value of 9

87The place value of 8
64The place value of 4
98The place value of 9
74The place value of 4
Addition of One or Two Digits Numbers:

Now, we can easily add one or two digits numbers. Because, we know the place of any one or two digits numbers. Here, we will learn to add same place value of any one or  two digits numbers. Example:

One Digit Number:

Here, One digits numbers are given below. Which has only ones place value. Hence, we can easily add all these value. Example: 4 + 6 = 10.

5 + 6 =11
4 + 9 =
8 + 7 =
9 + 3 =
7 + 2 =
8 + 9 =
8 + 8 =
6 + 7 =
7 + 9 =
8 + 5 =
Two Digits Numbers:

Here, Two digits numbers are given below. Which has Ones and Tens place value. Hence, We can add all these value easily. The rule of addition is that the same place value add with same place value. i.e. Ones place value add with Ones place value and Tens place value add with Tens place value. Example:

To add the following two digits numbers:
23 + 34 = 5745 + 43 = 88
45 + 34 = 76 + 21 =
56 + 23 = 85 + 22 =
65 + 43 = 54 + 34 =
82 + 25 = 68 + 41 =
98 + 01 = 76 + 12 =
89 + 10 = 73 + 34 =
87 + 32 = 95 + 34 =

Subtraction of One or Two Digits Numbers:

Now, we can easily subtract one or two digits numbers. Because, we know the place of any one or two digits numbers. Here, we will learn to subtract same place value of any one or  two digits numbers. Example:

One Digit Number:

Here, One digits numbers are given below. Which has only ones place value. Hence, we can easily subtract all these value. Example: 4 – 3 = 1. Here, first digit is Four. We can call four fingers, then fold the three fingers. Left only one finger. The one finger is your answer.

8 – 6 =2
4 – 1 =
8 – 7 =
9 – 3 =
7 – 2 =
8 – 5 =
8 – 6 =
6 – 3 =
7 – 3 =
8 – 5 =
Two Digits Numbers:

Here, Two digits numbers are given below. Which has Ones and Tens place value. Hence, We can subtract all these value easily. The rule of subtraction is that the same place value subtract with same place value. i.e. Ones place value subtract with Ones place value and Tens place value subtract with Tens place value. Example:

To subtract the following two digits numbers:
53 – 32 = 45 – 43 =
45 – 34 = 76 – 21 =
56 – 23 = 85 – 22 =
65 – 43 = 54 – 34 =
82 – 51 = 68 – 41 =
98 – 01 = 76 – 12 =
89 – 10 = 73 – 32 =
87 – 32 = 95 – 34 =
